IP Production Forum: An Inside Look of Telemundo Deportes’ IP-Based Facility

Down in Miami, Telemundo Deportes has been working on a wide range of content within their IP-based production facility since 2018. As one of the first large-scale structures with ST2110, the network has 13 studios and five control rooms at their disposal. By foregoing an SDI model, Telemundo opted for the cost-effective route and survived their busy “Summer of Soccer” that included the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France and the Copa America in Brazil.

At the IP Production Forum, Jeff Mayzurk, SVP, operations and technology, NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises, took to the stage during the opening keynote presentation for a crash course on the details of the IP facility.
