Wes Long Joins EEG Video as Senior Software Engineer

EEG Video announced that Wes Long has joined the company. As Senior Software Engineer, Long will bring his deep expertise as a software architect and systems analyst to EEG.

With over 20 years of experience in video engineering and operations, Long comes to EEG from Dynamic Captioning, where he was Director of Technology. In that role, he was a prolific enterprise system architect, developing captioning delivery systems for Internet subscription products for MLB.com, NFL.com, and other national television networks. Other prior positions include Engineer/Software Developer for Network Captioning Services and Software Developer for Caption Colorado.

At EEG, Long will contribute to ongoing advancements in live captioning workflows; Lexi cloud-hosted live automatic captioning service; Falcon live-streaming RTMP caption encoder; and the closed captioning delivery network iCap, among other solutions.
