Workshop to also include sessions addresses sports betting, OTT technology, and more

Once again in 2019, the SVG Summit (Dec. 16-17, New York Midtown Hilton, NYC) will feature an exciting workshop dedicated entirely to the streaming future of the sports video industry. The SVG Digital Workshop (Dec. 16 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. ET) will offer important discussions surrounding everything in the business (subscriber-ship, ad delivery, etc.) and technology (latency, codecs, standards, etc.) of digital sports media.

The workshop will be spotlighted by a pair of keynote conversations with Sinclair Broadcast Group Distinguished Engineer Jason Justman (10:30 a.m. ET) and fuboTV CTO Geir Magnusson (2:45 p.m. ET). Each will break down the state of streaming and digital delivery in each of their companies while also offering their takes on important industry-wide issues.

The SVG Digital Workshop will also treat attendees to in-depth discussions on the following topics:

  • Leagues of Extraordinary Streamers: How League Offices Are Leading the Way
  • The Next Generation of the OTT Stack: Encoding, QoE, Analytics, and More!
  • Sports Betting: The Promise of What’s to Come in 2020
