MSG Names Jonny Greco SVP/Executive Producer of Knicks, Rangers, Westchester Knicks Event Presentation

The Madison Square Garden Company announced that Jonny Greco has been named senior vice president and executive producer, event presentation for the New York Rangers, New York Knicks and Westchester Knicks, effective as of November 14. Greco joins the company after spending two years with the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights, where he most recently served as chief experience officer.

As senior vice president, Greco will be responsible for creating in-game and venue entertainment opportunities ensuring that MSG continues to deliver extraordinary in-venue experiences for fans.

“Jonny is well known as one of the best in the industry for being an innovative producer and authentic leader,” said Kristin Bernert, senior vice president, business operations, MSG Sports. “He brings a wealth of knowledge on how to enhance the fan experience to this role. We’re thrilled to have someone of his caliber on board and are excited to see what he will bring to The Garden on both the court and ice.”

Greco joins The Madison Square Garden Company after 2 years with the Vegas Golden Knights, where he helped to launch their extremely successful inaugural season as a part of the NHL. He was instrumental in creating an in-game atmosphere with home ice advantage that introduced professional hockey to the city of Las Vegas and buoyed the team throughout the 2017-18 playoffs and a run to the Stanley Cup Final.

Prior to joining the Golden Knights in 2017, Greco was a senior live event producer at WWE for 6 years, where he collaborated with entertainment leaders to redefine the WWE live event experience. He has also worked with the NBA as a video director for the last 4 consecutive NBA All-Star Weekends and was a part of the production team for the ice hockey venue at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. From 2004 to 2011, Greco produced, wrote, edited and directed in-arena live events for the Cleveland Cavaliers and from 2002 to 2014 he was the manager of video production for the Columbus Blue Jackets. Greco started his career in 1999 as a producer and editor for the Florida Marlins, now known as the Miami Marlins. He graduated from Full Sail University with an Associate of Science Degree in Film & Video.
