Veteran Sports Director Dave Hagen Dies at 64

Veteran sports director Dave Hagen died on Friday, Nov. 22 after a battle with cancer. He had helped bring viewers some of the most iconic sports moments of the past five decades and capped off his career by directing Nets and Islanders telecasts for MSG Networks in recent years. He was the youngest camera operator ever to cover a Super Bowl and went on to shoot countless high-profile sports events, including the NBA Finals, World Series, All-Star Games, and Tour de France. Hagen is survived by his wife, Carol, and children Kyle, Brett, Jack, and Carly.
