The Studio – B&H To Showcase Ncam Technologies at the SVG Summit

The Studio division of B&H will be showcasing new, real-time camera tracking from Ncam Technologies at its exhibit at the SVG Summit, Dec. 16-17 at the New York Hilton (Mercury Ball, Booth 42).

This major new technology introduction includes more than 80 new features as well as significant system optimization for improved performance and enhanced capabilities to enable the pre-visualization of visual effects.

“Introducing Ncam technology to the sports industry at the SVG Summit is very exciting and with our strong ties in that community it is a natural progression for us,” said Michel Suissa, Managing Director of the Studio-B&H.

“We’re looking forward to demonstrating the new capabilities of Ncam Reality at the SVG Summit and showing visitors what is now possible with real-time camera tracking integration in sports broadcasting applications.” said Nic Hatch, CEO, Ncam.

The new version of Ncam Reality sees added support for the Extreme Camera Bar, an additional functionality that enables users to track environments that are subject to dynamic lighting changes. The Ncam Reality camera bar has been refined to improve tracking quality and speed up the setup process. The number of supported video capture cards has also increased with the addition of support for Blackmagic Design’s DecLink SDI 4K video card supplementing the existing support for AJA Corvid 44 and Kona 4 video cards.
