Sports Summit Mexico Set for Feb. 26-27; Early Bird Discounts Available

After this year’s successful first edition of the Sports Summit Mexico, the event will return to Mexico City to become, once again, the meeting point for the international sports industry’s key players. It will be held at Citi Banamex Center Feb. 26-27.

The first Sports Summit Mexico attracted more than 2,000 attendees.

In 2019, the event brought together more than 2,000 attendees from 35 countries. It hosted 27 conferences and workshops, 70 speakers, 75 clubs, 40 leagues and competitions, more than 80 media outlets, and 200 registered journalists.

For this second edition, LaLiga is already participating as Corporate Partner. Innovation, technology, anti-piracy, fan experience, esports, fan engagement, and sports marketing will be some of the topics on the agenda for this new edition.

The event will be the place to discuss some of today’s hottest topics, bringing together experts, opinion leaders, brand representatives, top executives, and decision makers of the highest level. The most important event in Latin America will also have workshops, keynotes, exhibition spaces,  and networking events, as well as the presence of important international and national media outlets.

The agenda will continue to be updated in the coming weeks, and all the information about speakers, event news, and special discounts for the advanced purchase of tickets will be available on the website www.sportssummit.mx.

The Early Bird promo will continue until Jan. 31, offering a 30% discount on the ticket price.

The industry leaders participating in the event will include international executives Ronaldo L. Nazário, president, Real Valladolid Football Club; Javier Tebas, president, LaLiga Spain; Jaume Roures, founding partner, Mediapro Group; Miguel Ángel Gil, CEO, Atlético de Madrid; Andy Stalman (internationally known as “Mr. Branding”), CEO, Totem Branding; Pau Serracanta, managing director, Dorna Sports; and Chad De Luca, director, sponsorships, Twitch. Also participating will be presidents of local clubs and leagues — such as Alejandro Irarragorri, president, board of directors, Grupo Orlegi; Yon de Luisa, president, Mexican Soccer Federation; and Enrique Bonilla, executive president, LigaMX — and heads of international leagues, such as Mariano Elizondo, president, Argentine Super League. From other disciplines, Federico González of Mexico’s Formula 1 and Joaquín del Rivero from the WWE, among others, will be on the list of more than 70 speakers.
