NBC Sports Regional Networks To Give Fans Behind-the-Scenes Look Before Sunday’s Wizards-Bulls Game

NBC Sports Regional Networks will premiere a behind-the-scenes original program on the NBA, NBC Sports Wire to Wire: Wizards vs. Bulls, on Sunday, Feb. 23 on NBC Sports Washington (10 p.m. ET) and NBC Sports Chicago (9 p.m. CT). The one-hour show is an all-access pass to an NBA game day, featuring extensive in-game audio and interviews with players and coaches from the Washington Wizards and Chicago Bulls, surrounding their Jan. 15 matchup at the United Center in Chicago.

Covering both on-the-court and off-the-court experiences of an NBA game day, NBC Sports Wire to Wire: Wizards vs. Bulls provides an inside perspective through on-court audio and sit-down interviews with Wizards players Ish Smith and Moe Wagner and coach Scott Brooks and Bulls players Coby White and Tomáš Satoranský and coach Jim Boylen.

In the episode, Bulls rookie White and veteran Satoransky, a former Wizard, reveal personal perspectives on life in the league. White speaks from the vantage point of a wide-eyed rookie whose every day in the NBA is a learning lesson, while Satoransky gets personal about his family and what his place in the NBA has meant to the place of his roots: Prague, Czech Republic.

The Wizards’ Wagner shows his personality from the bench, whereas veteran guard Smith takes us on the court for revealing in-game insights. In one instance, he respectfully refutes an official’s call against him. Also, actor/director Tyler Perry makes a surprise visit to the team breakfast.

From the benches, coaches Boylen and Brooks open up their mics so that fans can hear and feel the passion and human side of being an NBA head coach.

The program will encore multiple times on both RSNs and will also be presented by NBC Sports Bay Area, NBC Sports Boston, NBC Sports California, NBC Sports Northwest, and NBC Sports Philadelphia next week.
