Indiana Becomes Third State to Allow Access to Yahoo Sportsbook

Verizon Media has expanded Yahoo Sportsbook powered by BetMGM, allowing users of legal age in the state of Indiana to view betting odds and click through the odds to place bets on BetMGM across a variety of sports. This offering further aligns the consumer journey from content discovery to transaction for Yahoo Sports and betting fans.

Indiana becomes the third state in which fans can place bets and transact through Yahoo Sportsbook powered by BetMGM. This offering gives sports fans a new way to enjoy the games they love, integrating sports betting opportunities into the Yahoo Sports app and desktop experiences.

Since launch in mid-November 2019, Yahoo Sports continues to enhance the user experience in the best-in-class Yahoo Sports app. New to the experience is a bet calculator, which allows users to measure the potential winnings based on current odds before placing them on BetMGM.

Fans nationwide can view betting odds across a variety of sports, and all users can also check out all the free and paid games on the Yahoo Fantasy platform. Users can get started with Yahoo Fantasy Slate to make free predictions for a chance to win prizes weekly.

Yahoo Sportsbook powered by BetMGM combines BetMGM’s world-class sports betting and interactive platform with Yahoo Sports’ history and best-in-class gaming platform. Future collaborations to come including betting experiences and content experiences like live events and productions. Yahoo Sportsbook powered by BetMGM will continue to expand and become available to fans in other states where sports betting is legal.
