Pennsylvania Joins Six Other U.S. States With Legalized Sports Betting Through Caesars Entertainment

Caesars Entertainment is now taking mobile sports bets in Pennsylvania. Online sports betting will be available through CaesarsOnline.com for Desktop and Android users.

“Caesars Entertainment is the leader in legalized and regulated gaming in the U.S., and this online sports betting launch in Pennsylvania is an exciting expansion given the incredible number of sports fans across the state,” said Christian Stuart, Executive Vice President of Gaming and Interactive for Caesars Entertainment. “The online sports betting launch in Pennsylvania achieves another milestone in our strategy to offer Caesars branded mobile gaming products equipped with the latest technology and superior customer service that customers trust, across the most populous states in the U.S. Caesars mobile products are fully integrated into the industry-leading Caesars Rewards loyalty program, allowing customers to earn and then redeem points seamlessly across our network of sports, entertainment, hospitality, and gaming assets worldwide.”

This move allows anyone in Pennsylvania to place bets on their favorite sporting events, including basketball, football, hockey, soccer, baseball and college athletics. Today’s launch will be a soft launch with limited hours initially as the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) requires all new sportsbooks in the state to go through a test period. The Caesars Casino & Sportsbook PA app will be available for iOS soon. Casino games including slots, table games, and video poker are coming this spring.

“Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack opened our sports book, The Book, in January 2019, and since then, have welcomed an incredible number of new and experienced sports bettors into our establishment,” said Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack General Manager, Chris Albrecht. “With the addition of mobile sports betting, we look forward to more guests playing with us on property and all-around Pennsylvania.”

Caesars’ partnership with technology innovator, Scientific Games, has been a key to its success in mobile betting. Scientific Games, a leading partner to the world’s most powerful iGaming, iLottery and Sports Betting brands power the Caesars Casino & Sportsbook mobile app. Its OpenBet technology provides Caesars’ players with intuitive and sleek solutions, enhancing the sports betting experience through the mobile app and at Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack.

Caesars’ mobile sports betting is integrated with the award-winning Caesars Rewards. More information on Caesars Rewards, including how to become a member, can be found at www.CaesarsRewards.com. Tri-state area gaming customers can access the mobile application in the state of Pennsylvania. Accounts can be funded in the app via VISA, MasterCard, PayPal, ACH and select other forms of payment.

Following the Supreme Court’s PASPA ruling and receipt of regulatory approvals, Caesars now offers betting opportunities — retail and mobile — in 29 locations across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Mississippi, Indiana, Iowa, New York, and Nevada.
