Panasonic’s North American President Faisal Pandi pens a letter to customers amid the coronavirus.

The global implications of COVID-19 are affecting all of us, and as they continue to evolve, we wanted to reiterate our commitments to you.

Panasonic is closely monitoring and assessing the situation, with the health and safety of our employees, customers and partners being the top priority.

We have adjusted our operational plans to do everything possible to keep business running. However, with the restrictions on travel and requirements for social isolation in certain areas within the US, slowdowns will be inevitable and you may experience potential delays in response times and delivery of product. Updates on Our Policies

  • Limiting travel: We have enacted restrictions for all non-essential employee business travel and have moved all Panasonic North America employees to a remote work setup. This precautionary measure has been taken to limit the potential spread of the virus and to ensure our ability to serve you for the long term.
  • Going virtual: We are confident that our workforce is prepared for this remote working scenario and is doing everything possible to ensure that there are no disruptions to the services we provide. Internal and external meetings will be held virtually, and for new situations that require additional action, our leadership team is ready to respond.
  • Service and Support: Our service and support teams are continuing to work under adjusted work schedules and we have put contingency plans in place in the event we should experience an outbreak at any of our facilities.
