Headlining the Fall 2020 edition is the SVG COVID-19 Sports Production Operations Guide. Beginning in early April, SVG held a series of meetings with industry leaders to discuss the return of sports production during the coronavirus pandemic. This guide is a result of those conversations. It is designed to provide guidance for those who may have questions about how to approach some of the challenges that our industry is facing, given the requirements for safety protocols, social distancing, and more. The document features sections on Personnel Management, Compound Design, Compound Entry, Entering & Exiting the Truck, Third-Party Providers, Catering, Vests/Access Wear, Audio, and Cleaning & Disinfecting.

In addition, the Venue Spotlight section goes inside the state-of-the-art video-production facilities at three of the industry’s latest sports venues: SoFi Stadium in L.A., Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, and Globe Life Field in Texas. The special supplement section also features Systems Integrator Q&A’s with Beck TV, Diversified, and NEP Integrated Solutions.

This year’s Fall edition of the SVG SportsTech Journal also includes an expanded White Paper section with insights from  AJA Video Systems, Arvato Systems, BECKTV, Canon, Celar-Com, Cobalt Digital, Diversified, EcoDigital, EVS, Google Cloud, Grass Valley, Haivision, Intel Sports, MediaKind, MediaPro, NCAM, Nevion, Riedel Communications, Signiant, Sony, Studio Network Solutions, Supponor, TAG VS, Telos Alliance, and Telstra.
