Ross Video Puts Finishing Touches on Customer Experience Center in South Korea

Ross Video has completed its latest Customer Experience Center in Seoul, South Korea. The RCK III facility is designed to showcase the complete range of Ross solutions and was developed in conjunction with Ross Video’s leading Korean partners to better service customers in the region.

As Ross continues to develop high impact, high efficiency solutions, this latest Ross hub provides a dedicated space for customers to receive in-depth solution demonstrations, product training and workflow consultancy. This ensures that they can make informed choices as they continue to find new ways to create content, engage with viewers and tell better stories more efficiently and cost-effectively.

The facility features Ross products and solutions from across the production landscape. One highlight is the video wall production solution, which uses either the Voyager graphics rendering platform or the XPression Tessera graphics system to generate ultra-high-resolution graphics on LED video walls. Whether installed in sports stadiums or on-set in news studios, video walls allow customers to creatively enhance their productions with engaging and visually compelling content.

As productions become increasingly complex, both in terms of management and technology, it is even more important to focus on production efficiency. This trend is prevalent across live production, especially for customers in news, entertainment, and fast-growing environments like esports. This latest training and demonstration center will enable Ross to show customers how highly configurable control systems like DashBoard and OverDrive can empower them to run automated and semi-automated productions. Coupled with workflow management systems like Inception and Streamline, these solutions can make even the most complex workflow stress-free, stripping out complication and human error.

The new Seoul location also features a variety of solutions purpose-built to support IP, 4K-UHD, 12G SDI and hybrid workflows. 4K-UHD production is a major focal point for Ross as the company continues to work with customers to migrate their operations to 4K-UHD across all transport platforms. The Ultrix routing / AV processing platform is an important component of the new center’s infrastructure rack because it sits at the heart of the Ross 4K-UHD workflow diagram, regardless of whether the system in question is SDI, IP or hybrid.

“The investment in this new facility by Ross Video and our partners demonstrates our continued commitment to customers, both existing and potential, in South Korea and the surrounding region,” says Mark Cooke, Director of Sales for Asia. “This space will really give us the opportunity to demonstrate the power of the Ross ecosystem, and I know everyone will benefit greatly from the enhanced technical support, training and consultative capabilities it will provide.” Mr. Simon Seok, CEO of Youngdo B&C (one of Ross Video’s eminent business partners in South Korea), sees the opening of the new facility as an important step forward for Ross. “The RCK III center gives us the ability to present Ross solutions to any customer at any time with great confidence and professionalism,” he notes. “It will be an invaluable asset in this ever-more competitive industry.”
