SVG College Roundtable: The Return of Live Sports – What We’ve Learned and How to Prepare

While this has been a messy week in college athletics with COVID-19-fueled cancellations happening across college football, live sports video content creators continue to push forward with doing their jobs in a safe and responsible manner where its appropriate.

For those who are back to at least some live events, what types of content are they creating? How they are doing it safely? What you can do to prepare if your conference is returning to action very soon or in the coming months?

At a live virtual event that SVG hosted on October 27, we dove into these very questions with Megan Coffey, Associate Director/Creative Services and Multimedia at the University of Cincinnati; Eric Frey, Senior Director, ACC Network Operations at Virginia Tech; and Tyler Rutherford, Assistant AD/Digital Media at Iowa State University.
