American Cornhole League Inks Multi-Year TV Deal With CBS Sports

The American Cornhole League (ACL) has signed a multi-year deal with CBS Sports to televise the ACL Pro Shootout, starting in the summer of 2021. The ACL Pro Shootout Series is a new competition that features eight high-intensity singles and doubles qualifying events hosted across the United States.

The ACL Pro Shootout Championship event will take place in September 2021 at a location to be announced soon. The championship event crowns the Shootout Champions along with the ACL Man of the Year and ACL Woman of the Year.

The Pro Shootout Series, sponsored by Johnsonville, is a 10-round single elimination tournament format – fans will be familiar with it as the format is similar to the 2020 Pro Invitational Qualifying Tour. Each of the eight summer events will feature a Pro Men’s Singles, Pro Women’s Singles, and Pro Doubles event with the winners qualifying for the Shootout Championship. CBS Sports will be covering all the action, with events airing on CBS Television Network or CBS Sports Network.

“The opportunity to create a new ACL Pro Series for our players and fans through a partnership with CBS is something that we couldn’t pass up,” said Stacey Moore, Commissioner and Founder of the American Cornhole League. “As we continue to grow the sport of cornhole with Johnsonville we’re excited to bring this sudden death win to get in action to CBS’ viewers.”

The American Cornhole League hosts competition and tournaments across the amateur, collegiate, and pro ranks with thousands of players taking part every year. For additional information on how to participate visit iPlayACL.com.
