The SVG Summit:CONNECT Day Ahead – Day 4 Is ‘Initiative Day’
Meetings will bring together Clean Freaks, SPIRIT Diversity, SVGW, RSN Community, and DTV Audio Group
Good morning and welcome to the “Day Ahead” for the SVG Summit:CONNECT! It’s Day Four and what we like to call “Initiative Day.” We have a tremendous lineup of thought-provoking Zoom-style meetings, which we hope you will not only attend but also be part of the conversation.
We will kick things off at noon ET with a one-hour meeting of the Clean Freaks group, which comprises leading TV and league production professionals. Every week since the end of March, the group has gathered in a weekly call to discuss COVID testing, protocols, and more. You won’t want to miss this lively discussion!
At 1 p.m., SVG will proudly unveil its diversity and inclusion initiative: SPIRIT (Sports Production Inclusion Responsibility in Technology). This one-hour session will give you a chance to learn about our plans, how your company can step up its diversity and inclusion game, and much more. Join us and become part of a new future for sports production.
SPIRIT will be followed at 2 p.m. by the annual SVGW meeting. This year, SVGW will take a look at women on the front bench, with five amazing speakers sharing their experiences and spurring conversation about how the industry can get more women into directing and producing roles.
At 3 p.m., join us for the annual RSN Community Meeting. Unfortunately, the RSN community could not get together in Chicago in person, but this virtual meeting will give you a chance to learn more about how its members are approaching production in this challenging time.
If you want to get your fill of audio, join the DTV Audio Group at 1-3 p.m. for the DTV Audio Group winter meeting. Production practices for next-gen audio will be the order of the day, and you won’t want to miss it!
And make sure to check out Tech Tour TV for a look at all the latest products and technology from top vendors in the industry.

With that in mind, this meeting will offer a look at the current RSN landscape and how production workflows are evolving to meet today’s challenges. RSN production, operations, and technology leaders will take part in this open conversation in an effort to enhance collaboration, communication, and innovation in 2021.
