Dome Productions, TV2Go International Celebrates IIHF World Junior Championship Success

Dome Productions and TV2GO International says they have completed another successful year collaborating on the IIHF World Junior Championship, headlined by the work of Dome Productions. The annual tournament has become an important staple in live sports transmission worldwide with Dome Productions continuing to deliver their innovative and entertaining production to the enjoyment of fans all over the world.

Brian Carr of Dome Productions says the IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship is a yearly highlight for the company.

The 12-day tournament began December 26, 2020 and featured 28 games across 12 different networks in Canada, USA and across Europe and Asia. Even within the confines of the COVID-19 production bubble and the new challenges posed to the industry, Dome Productions thrived and delivered another stellar showcase of amateur hockey’s crown jewel.

For a decade, TV2GO International has been honoured to be a member of Dome’s international transmission network to ensure that their fantastic projects are witnessed by as many fans as possible in Europe and Asia.

“We take great pride in our partnership with Dome for the IIHF World Junior Championship,” says TV2GO International’s Senior Operations Manager, Dillon Goldsmith. “Due to the precedent of excellence set each year by Dome, broadcasters expect timely and uninterrupted connections, and our team is thrilled to assist yet again.”

Brian Carr, Distribution and Emerging Technology for Dome Productions, says Dome looks forward to the event every year.

“We are pleased to have taken a leadership role in creating excellent television under challenging and unprecedented circumstances,” he says. “We’d like to thank TSN and the IIHF and congratulate them and everyone who worked on the tournament on a safe and successful production.”

“It is great to have participated in an event that entertains so many,” added Goldsmith. “We are proud of our role, our relationship with Dome Productions, and we look forward to doing it again, next year.”
