Arvato Systems Realigns ‘Vidispine’ Management Team, Names Vice President Nicolas Ley as Division Leader

From January 1st, the management team of Arvato Systems‘ ‘Vidispine’ business division has been restructured. As of now, Nicolas Ley, in his role as Vice President, will take on the overall responsibility for the division. He will directly report to Ralf Schürmann, CEO of Arvato Systems S4M GmbH. Holger Noske, Erik Åhlin, and Isak Jonsson will take on more leadership responsibilities.

In the middle of last year, the product portfolios of the two ‘Broadcast Solutions’ and Vidispine business divisions merged under the new go-to-market brand ‘Vidispine – An Arvato Systems Brand’. From an organizational point of view, the merging of the two brands will now be underpinned by restructuring management roles and tasks. Nicolas Ley, who previously oversaw Broadcast Solutions‘ delivery and support in his role as Senior Director Solutions, has been in charge of the ‘Vidispine’ business division since the beginning of this year. Nicolas graduated in media technology and has a longstanding industry track record. Before joining Arvato Systems, where he has spent a considerable part of his career, he held positions at Avid and Fraunhofer.

Along with Nicolas Ley and as members of the new ‘Vidispine’ management team, Holger Noske will be responsible for managing and developing the cross-industry ‘VidiNet’ content platform; Erik Åhlin will be in charge of Sales & Marketing while Isak Jonsson, in his role as Chief Technologist, will be responsible for the product portfolio. In addition, Holger Noske will oversee business development of the whole ‘Media’ business division at Arvato Systems.

Behind the newly combined Vidispine brand is a complete ‘content ecosystem’ of the company’s own product portfolio and professional services together with a strong community of partner vendors, consultants and service providers and developers creating solutions for organizations. The restructured portfolio includes solutions for the broadcast and media & entertainment industry, including enterprise Media Asset Management, Content Planning & Rights Management and Ad Tech, as well as the cross-industry content platform, VidiNet.
