HOF 2020 Inductee Sit-Down: Fred Gaudelli

Sports Video Group and the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame held a small virtual reception last December where previous Hall of Famers and the voting committee had a chance to welcome the newbies and celebrate via Zoom. At the center of the ceremony was a series of interviews with the members of the class of 2020, and today, we have Fred Gaudelli, the long-time Executive Producer of NBC’s Sunday Night Football. During this chat, Fred discusses the overcoming of adversity throughout his career and what led him to his current position. A 24-time Emmy Award winner, Gaudelli has produced six Super Bowls and, prior to joining Sunday Night Football, Gaudelli spent five seasons as producer of ABC’s Monday Night Football. He was named senior coordinating producer at ESPN in November 1996.
