Cobalt Digital Bolsters openGear Portfolio With Ward-Beck Analog DA’s, Converters

Cobalt Digital has acquired the IP and manufacturing rights to multiple Ward-Beck openGear cards, effective immediately.

The products being integrated into the Cobalt family include several analog audio and video distribution amplifiers, audio analog-to-digital /digital-to-analog converters, and single card rear modules in numerous 3-pin terminal block configurations.

We are delighted to add them to the Cobalt family of products and be able to serve an extended marketplace.”

Ward-Beck Systems had manufactured and supplied professional audio broadcast equipment for more than half a century from headquarters in Toronto, Canada. The company ceased operations on January 31, 2021 but has pledged continued support and assistance during the transition period to ensure minimal disruption to customers.
