Remembering Mike Pearl: A Tribute to a Sports Television Legend

The iconic Sports Broadcasting Hall of Famer died at the age of 77

Sports Broadcasting Hall of Famer Mike Pearl who worked at five networks and won 17 Sports Emmy awards passed away over the weekend.

Highlights of his career include producing the first four years the NFL Today, the first five years of Inside the NBA, the first live wire-to-wire coverage of a Daytona 500, and working on five Olympic games.
