Pixellot Inks Five-Year Deal With California Collegiate Athletic Association for Automated Video Capture, Analysis

In an effort to expand their services in the collegiate market, Pixellot is entering into a five-year agreement with the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA). A member of NCAA Division II athletics, the conference is home to 12 university’s located within the California State University system, including San Francisco State, Cal State LA, Cal Poly Pomona, and Cal State San Bernardino.

Through this new deal, the CCAA will use Pixellot’s automated technology to enrich the live and on-demand content of men’s and women’s soccer thats’ currently being offered on the CCAA Network. The conference has had a long-time relationship with Pixellot, which started with the company’s VidSwap video analytics platform. Now, this agreement will allow coaches from all schools to streamline the analysis of games even further.

Over the years, Pixellot has dramatically increased its reach within organized sports at all levels. These workflows are currently being leveraged by more than 7,000 high schools with the NFHS network. In addition to this first conference-wide partnership, Division I programs that are benefitting on an individual-basis include Indiana University, Penn State, UMASS Lowell, University of Vermont, Loyola Marymount University, USC, and the College of Charleston. Overseas, the company is positively impacting productions of Ireland’s Men’s Second Division and Women’s First Division as well as the Second, Third, and Fourth Divisions in Scotland. Pixellot’s video coaching solution is also being deployed by teams in the professional ranks, including FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and the MLS Champions, Columbus Crew. Overall, productions have scaled up significantly — with 80,000 games every month from 15,000 venues around the world —  in the past few months.
