2023 Winter World University Games Host Broadcaster RFP Available

An RFP to provide Host Broadcast services for the 2023 Winter World University Games, to be held in Lake Placid, NY, from January 12-22 is now available upon request as the organizing committee seeks a partner to manage the IBC, broadcast operations control, venue operations, and more.

Events to be held include alpine skiing, various ceremonies, speed skating figure skating, ice hockey, biathlon, cross-country skiing, nordic combined, curling, freestyle skiing, snowboarding, ski jumping, and big air. More than 2,500 athletes from 50 countries will participate in a total of 86 events in 12 sports.

The host broadcaster will be selected by Lake Placid 23 to product and transmit to the IBC an impartial, live, HD video and audio signal and, as such, LP23 requires that the host has proven capability and relevant experience in the delivery of services for multi-sport events of an appropriate level.
