SVG SportsTech On Demand: CineSys.io’s Harry Skopas on the Company’s Shift to Accommodating Remote Workflows

While the 2021 NAB Show has been moved to October, the spring season will still feature a cavalcade of new product releases and groundbreaking news coming out of the broadcast technology sector. In an effort to keep the video-production community informed, SVG is hosting a series of SportsTech On Demand video interviews throughout April, May, and June with executives from the industry’s top technology vendors.

Over the past year, CineSys Inc. has ramped up host of remote-production workflows to allow content creators to continue operating during the pandemic. In this interview, Harry Skopas, CineSys.io, Director of M/E Solutions Architecture and Technical Sales, discusses the latest solutions and workflows the company offers to accommodate remote working. Fist up, CineSys developed the Work From Home CineStudio Kit while helping a major sports broadcaster record secure high quality broadcasts from home. These Work From Home kits are now being used by many large broadcasters across North America. On the remote workstation front, the CineSys SmartCloud solution with Amulet Hotkey and Leostream can serve for companies big and small. This year, CineSys also became the first Amulet Hotkey Advanced Partner in North America. CineSys also offers high quality, low-latency video encoding/decoding with Haivision. Remote production workflows allow you to cover a wide range of live events, including sports, musical performances and news, without the costly overhead of deploying production teams and OB trucks to each site. And finally, MatrixStore Cloud have now arrived in North America alongother hybrid and cloud setups, bridging the gap between on prem and cloud media management.
