New in 2021: Virtual Facility Tours

Missing the opportunity to tour other campuses and peek inside the latest live production control rooms? Each day, receive a tech-centered walk-through of a brand-new control room build and ask questions live of the SVG College member overseeing the project!

That schools tentatively scheduled to make presentations of their new control rooms include Temple University, the University of Wyoming, and the University of San Diego.

New in 2021: Mentor Circles

Want a more personal touch to your learning and networking experience at this year’s SVG College Summit? Sign up to participate in one of our “Mentor Circles.”

These meeting rooms will place you in a specially curated group of four or five individuals comprising other collegiate Athletic Department professionals and technology leaders. Each Mentor Circle will feature a diverse collection of people representing various school sizes, geographies, and more to allow professionals and students of all experience levels to share ideas, glean advice, and ask questions to solve the unique challenges they face on campus.

Mentor Circles will be themed on such concepts as control-room new builds, control-room renovations, production gear, and department management.

To inquire about participating in a Mentor Circle or to volunteer as a Mentor, contact the program director of the SVG College Summit Brandon Costa at [email protected].

New in 2021: Spotlight Postproduction Creatives

While the SVG College Summit has traditionally focused on the art of live sports production, this year’s agenda is expanding to address the workflows and the creative processes behind postproduction content creators building content for social media and other digital outlets.

Creatives from across the world of collegiate athletics will gather to share the latest gear, technology, workflows, and solutions that help make their content-creation plans possible.

Don’t miss this peer-to-peer look behind the scenes at how some of the year’s most engaging video-content creators do what they do as part of the event’s agenda on Thursday, June 24.

For a look at the full event program, including general sessions, visit the SVG College Summit website.
