Marshall Electronics Prepares to Debut CV568 Miniature Global with Genlock, CV368 Compact Global with Genlock on June 30

Marshall Electronics is debuting two new cameras, CV568 Miniature Global with Genlock and CV368 Compact Global with Genlock.

Global Shutter camera sensors are nothing new to the broadcast proAV industry, however when our customers are challenged to capture ultra-fast motion within the field-of-view, motion anomalies become more of a challenge. Global Shutter sensors perform better in these environments as all pixels are exposed simultaneously.

Rolling Shutter sensors roll through the sensor array in sequence (usually top to bottom) which can cause warping or motion blur in extreme speed environments. This is not to say one is better than the other, each play a role and have a purpose in video production.

Marshall is extremely excited to continue this heritage as we announce the launch of the Marshall CV568 and CV368 camera models with applicable feature sets for sportscast, newscast, racing, eSports, OB vans or anywhere there’s speed or low-light.

Both cameras are slated to be released on June 30.
