Sportsnet continues to invest in all of our sports properties and platforms through enhanced technology that will bring the most immersive experience to fans and provide advertisers with an ideal environment to build their brands,” says Yabsley. “The studio will be versatile, interactive, and future-forward, and is designed in a way that is flexible and adaptable to the changing media landscape. It is more than just a television studio – it’s a space that will inspire collaborative and innovative content creation for every platform, to the ultimate benefit of Canadian sports fans.”

Having the NHL on Sportsnet team at Rogers Campus will bring the network’s entire production operations under one roof, allowing for more opportunity and integration across all content platforms and sports properties.

Sportsnet’s new studio will be on the cutting-edge of technology and infrastructure, including multiple set areas with moveable pieces, two brand new control rooms with IP-based audio and video, high-tech monitor walls with industry-leading ‘always-on’ display, real-time data integration, LED lighting, and virtual set extension capabilities that will allow for reimagined storytelling. Sportsnet will leverage all of this technology for new and unique ways to produce content, entertain fans and provide partners more customizable opportunities for branded integration.
