Univision Lands Rights to Brasileirão Championship and Argentina’s Liga Profesional de Fútbol for PrendeTV

Univision Communications has secured the rights to the top competitions in South America, Brasileirão Championship and Argentina’s Liga Profesional de Fútbol, as part of a multi-year deal that will deliver live matches on PrendeTV, Univision’s free ad-supported streaming service. Through the agreement, Univision will stream live matches from the Campeonato Brasileirão Série A and B and Argentine Primera División games, including playoffs and the SuperCopa, to fans over its PrendeTV service.

PrendeTV’s live game coverage kicked off on over the wweekend with a trio of matches. More matches will be announced. PrendeTV is available across mobile and connected TV devices Amazon Fire TV, Apple (iOS and tvOS), Google (Android phones and TV devices), Roku and via the web on prende.tv.
