Watch Now! SVG/HBF Mental Health Break: Identifying a Co-Worker Who is Struggling

Welcome to episode two of the Mental Health Minute, a new 10-part series created by SVG and Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation. Created to support those who are working hard on the Tokyo Olympics, each episode zeros in on a specific issue facing those who are away from home and are interested in learning how to maintain emotional well being, stay connected with family back home, and much more.

Today’s episode takes a look at how to identify when a co-worker is struggling with mental health issues. Our guest is Dr. Leslie Adair, Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, National Executive Director of Mental Health. Dr. Adair provides operational oversight of outpatient mental health services system-wide. Dr. Adair is also responsible for ensuring the delivery of standardized, high-quality and evidence-based mental health treatment services across the continuum of care. Her areas of interest include assessment and treatment of co-occurring disorders, family therapy and quality patient care. She holds a master’s degree in counseling and psychotherapy from the Alfred Adler Institute of Minnesota, and a master’s degree and doctorate in clinical psychology from Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, California.
