NBC Olympics Chooses Game Creek Video for Broadcast Services, Facilities of Gymnastics Productions

NBC Olympics has selected Game Creek Video to provide broadcast services and facilities for its production of gymnastics during the Games of the XXXII Olympiad.

“Game Creek has shown itself to be a proven provider of state-of-the-art facilities with an experienced staff to support technically challenging productions,” says Chip Adams, VP Venue Engineering, NBC Sports Group. “We are glad to have them as a part of our Olympic Games team again.

Game Creek will provide NBC Olympics with mobile-units, Victory A and B, for coverage of all gymnastics events in Tokyo this summer. Game Creek will provide a Grass Valley Production Switcher, EVS XT VIA replay servers, a Calrec Apollo audio console and Sony 4300 cameras with Canon lenses, two of which are SSMO, to capture all the tumbles, flips, and aerials of the Tokyo Olympics gymnastics events. Project manager George Bailie will lead the Game Creek team in this endeavor. Game Creek staff, along with mobile unit team Victory, will travel by land and sea from Hudson, New Hampshire to Tokyo, Japan to facilitate one of the world’s most anticipated live sporting events.
