Panasonic Projectors Power Impressionist Shows in Czech Republic

Panasonic projectors are presenting works of art from our greatest impressionists in incredible 4K color and unique detail at an immersive exhibition entitled Bylo Nebylo, Van Gogh, Monet, Renoir, at Prague Forum Karlin in the Czech Republic. Using 28 Panasonic projectors, the masterpieces fill four high walls around the hall, two giant blocks in the middle of the space and even the ground below visitors‘ feet – complemented with music from the era.

“We chose Panasonic’s 3-DLP Chip Projectors because we wanted the very best color reproduction to bring to life the artists’ works,” says Jan Kubinec, CEO at AV Media Events. “These high brightness models also offered the best blending and uniformity on a large screen size and the outstanding lens line-up, with a variety of UST lenses, allowed us to create a shadow-free floor to ceiling projection.”

The challenge was to design a cost-effective and flexible solution in an area of more than 2000m2 that would provide visitors with an unforgettable experience. AV Media Events chose Panasonic projectors because of their powerful light output and resolution. To achieve the incredible scale and detailed content required, the technical solution synchronizes images from the different projectors with resolutions from WUXGA to 4K+ and brightness ranging from 10,000-30,000 lumens.

“Thanks to the incredible Panasonic equipment we have here – which doesn’t distract with noise or too much heat – we have created an incredible environment to deliver this successful visual event and, importantly, to be able to bring it to other countries,” says Serge Grimaux, Event Producer.

The exhibition can be installed or removed within just 3-4 hours, supporting ambitions to take the show around the world. For more permanent installations and other indoor applications, Panasonic also offers a wide range of 1-DLP Chip and LCD projectors.
