Germany’s Hamburg Institute for Management and Economic Research, Computerwoche Gives Arvato Systems Reliable IT Security Rating

The Hamburg Institute for Management and Economic Research (IMWF) and the trade magazine Computerwoche have investigated the question of what distinguishes a good IT security provider. They conducted a social listening study to find out who is trusted most by stakeholders in this market. The results of the “IT Security” study are now available and are very pleasing for Arvato Systems. The IT service provider occupies a top position and was named IT Champion for IT Security.

Cyber attacks have unfortunately been part of everyday IT life for a long time. The more the benefits of digitalization are exploited, the more attempts there are to penetrate IT systems, steal business-critical information or otherwise cause damage. With its “Cyber Care” offering, Arvato Systems has been helping companies to set up their IT security professionally for many years. Arvato Systems’ concept includes protection through prevention, system monitoring and detection of specific attacks, and professional response to these attacks, and thus goes far beyond the classic core offering of a Security Operations Center (SOC).

The “IT Security” study analyzes the reputation of professional providers as part of a so-called sentiment analysis on the topic of IT security. According to Computerwoche, the study is based on a two-stage process in which all freely accessible texts on the web are collected with relevant search terms and then analyzed in the second step, known as processing, using artificial intelligence methods. According to Computerwoche, this “social listening” essentially provides information about the esteem in which IT providers are held and is – according to the IMWF – a mark of quality for the reputation of a company. Arvato Systems is among the top ten IT security providers in this ranking.
