Canon Introduces New Canon EOS R5 C & NINJA V+

The new Canon EOS R5 C brings Apple ProRes RAW support to the next level with the NINJA V and NINJA V+, which at the top end includes recording of ProRes RAW 8K at 30fps and 6K at 60fps with the NINJA V+.

The NINJA V and NINJA V+ also offer support for 6K up to 30fps and 3K up to 60fps, giving filmmakers flexibility in post, whilst ensuring your work is future-proofed.

Powered by the latest Atomos silicon chip, the AtomIC3 and the AtomOS 10 software, the NINJA V+ has been redesigned with expanded processing power to deliver even more options for filmmakers.

Multi-Camera Production
The built-in LTC input on the EOS R5 C means it is perfectly suited for multi-camera productions. It can be used in combination with the Atomos UltraSync One, lightweight wireless sync system to connect and synchronize multiple cameras. The technology is also compatible with the AtomX SYNC module for the NINJA V/V+, which means it can be wirelessly synchronized to a range of devices.

ProRes RAW – The New Standard for RAW
ProRes RAW is supported by Atomos with over 40 different cameras, cementing itself as the industry standard for RAW video capture, presenting a range of visual and workflow benefits.

Apple ProRes RAW combines the visual and workflow benefits of RAW video with the incredible real-time performance of ProRes, giving you enormous latitude when adjusting images and extending brightness and shadow detail, making it ideal for HDR workflows.

ProRes RAW is fully supported in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro and Avid Media Composer, along with other applications including ASSIMILATE SCRATCH, Colorfront, FilmLight Baselight and Grass Valley Edius.
