NBC Sports To Air Women’s Tour de France on Peacock, CNBC in July 2022

NBC Sports will be the exclusive home of the Women’s Tour de France (Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift) in the United States on Peacock and CNBC beginning in July 2022.

“I am delighted that NBC Sports is joining the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift broadcasters,” says Marion Rousse, Director of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. “For the two first editions of the event, NBC Sports will provide women’s racing with the know-how it displays each year in its coverage of the Tour de France, and bring the excitement of the race to fans across the United States. NBC Sports thus participates in the birth of possible vocations among young women, in a country where female cycling already occupies an important place.”

The richest and most prestigious stage race in women’s cycling, the 2022 Women’s Tour de France (July 24-31) will be held for the for the first time in 33 years after the previous iteration of the race ran annually from 1984-1989.

The eight-day Women’s Tour de France will cover 751 miles. Beginning on July 24, 2022, the first stage will begin at the Eiffel Tower in Paris on the same day that the men’s Tour de France concludes with Stage 21 on the Champs Élysées. The race will culminate on July 31 with the eighth stage from Lure to Super Planche des Belles Filles.
