NAB 2022: Astound Expands Media Services Network Using Media Links Technology

Media Links, manufacturer and pioneer in Media over IP transport technology announces that Astound Business Solutions, powered by RCN | Grande | Wave, a national telecommunications provider, has expanded its fiber-rich network into new cities using Media Links’ media over IP transport solutions.

Astound delivers a wide breadth of industry leading media, internet and cloud networking services, and this expansion positions them to accommodate the growing demand for more media content, in particular for higher quality services with increased bandwidth such as professional/broadcast entertainment and/or sporting events.

Astound has deployed the entire Media Links solution portfolio of IP Media gateways. The gateways are standards compliant for a higher quality of services (QoS) while also giving users the security of a monitored private video networks. In addition, the MD8000 platform offers an ease of booking for faster implantation.
