2022 Sports Emmys: NBC Sports’ David Barton, Mark Levy Revel In Tokyo Olympics’ Gorgeous Graphics Package

Fans from around the globe may not have been able to travel for the Tokyo Olympics but NBC Sports delivered a feast for the eyes for friends, family, and fans back home in the United States. The network’s work on the Games of the XXXII Olympiad was celebrated at the 2022 Sports Emmys where it was awarded a trophy for Outstanding Graphic Design – Event/Show.

Immediately after accepting their award, NBC Sports Senior Art Director David Barton and SVP, Original Productions and Creative Mark Levy broke down the wildly in depth and visually-stunning graphics package that aimed to embody the spirit of the city of Tokyo.
