FloSports Appoints First CMO & Hires 4x Emmy Winner from ESPN

Leading sports streaming and media company, FloSports,announced today two new executive appointments with the hiring of Ozge Erturk and Joe Baker. Ozge Erturk joins the company as Chief Marketing Officer while Joe Baker is added as VP, Production.

Ozge Erturk comes to FloSports after 5 years at Amazon where she held several senior global and regional marketing roles, including Head of US Marketing for Amazon Subscriptions & Product Discovery, Head of Global Consumer Marketing and Head of Paid Media for Amazon Pay. Ozge’s leadership led to a transformation in Amazon Pay’s consumer marketing efforts that resulted in significant surges in customer acquisition and brand awareness. Prior to joining Amazon in 2017, Ozge served as Sr. Director of Digital Marketing of Varsity Tutors, an on-demand tutoring site. She also had a 4-year career at Match.com Group where she led growth initiatives for Match.com, The Princeton Review and Tutor.com brands. Before joining Match.com Group, Ozge held various positions in digital marketing and business development for some of Turkey’s most prominent e-commerce companies and financial institutions.

Erturk joins the FloSports leadership team that includes Mark Floreani (Chief Executive Officer), Manuel Rosso (Chief Operating Officer), Ray Machuca (Chief Content Officer), Pat Noonan (Chief Financial Officer), Paige Ellis (Head of People Strategies), Paul Hurdlow (SVP & General Counsel), Phil Wendler (SVP, Global Rights Acquisition), Kevin Boller (SVP, Strategy & Corporate Development), Geoff DeFrance (SVP, Product & Engineering) and Jason Ford (SVP, Integrated Partnerships).

Prior to joining FloSports, Joe Baker was with ESPN for 29 years working in Studio Operations, Studio Production and Remote Operations. Most recently, Joe oversaw Production Operations for ESPN’s college networks, including Longhorn Network, SEC and ACC Networks, as well as the 200+ schools contributing content to ESPN digital platforms. Prior to his collegiate work, Joe oversaw Remote Operations for ESPN’S coverage of the PGA Tour, Indycar, NHRA Drag Racing, and NASCAR, where his technical teams won two of his four sports Emmy Awards.
