Adder Strengthens IP KVM Matrix with New Dual Head HDMI Extender

Adder Technology announces the launch of the latest addition to its award-winning matrix IP KVM range. The ADDERLink INFINITY 2124T (ALIF2124T) extender delivers dual head video, audio, and USB2.0 over a 1GbE IP network for a pixel-perfect, real-time, desktop experience. HDMI connectivity brings additional customer choice and flexibility and reflects the growing demand for IP KVM in the ProAV, Control Room and Media and Entertainment sectors.

As technology advancements drive the adoption of consistent connectivity types across mixed computer environments, Adder’s latest product enables users to better choose how they build their IP KVM solution, specific to their needs. And, as HDMI continues to grow as the digital connector of choice, the launch of the ALIF2124T is ideally timed to meet market demands.

Will Kemp, managing director, Blue Elephant, specialists in world-class event production and AV experiences, comments, “The ability to connect, access and control video and audio instantly and without latency is essential to what we do. We’ve worked with Adder Technology on a number of major live events and found their KVM products flawless in quality and reliability. The addition of a dual head HDMI extender will only add to the flexibility of their solutions.”

John Halksworth, senior product manager, Adder Technology, says, “The ALIF2124T is a significant addition to our ADDERLink INFINITY portfolio. HDMI and DisplayPort technology dominate the PC market, and by introducing a dual head HDMI KVM extender our customers no longer need unreliable and expensive converters and cables to access the information they need. A great example of this in action would be how our customers are using Adder’s matrix capability to enable faster and smoother deployment of a ProAV over IP distribution network. This supports superior, high quality, video wall and digital signage implementations.”
