Live From Super Bowl LVII: CES Power Provides Redundant UPSs, Preps Cloud Monitoring for Big Game

Fox Sports and Fox News productions and Game Creek trucks are supported

At State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ, CES Power has a significant role on multiple fronts at Super Bowl LVII.

The company is providing 2.8 MW of redundant broadcast technical power, backed by 1,440 kVA of UPS systems for Fox Corp.’s production efforts, including Fox Sports’ live broadcast and pregame studio coverage and Fox News’ onsite shows. CES Power is also supplying the power for the Game Creek Video mobile units handling production of the Apple Music Halftime Show. The system was designed to the highest technical specifications, with limited failover points as required.

CES Power is at the center of a handful of broadcasting efforts at Super Bowl LVII.

Also provided was another 2.6 MW of redundant broadcast domestic power for environmental, lighting, and non-dritical loads involved with each aspect of broadcast.

“Our crew of top technicians worked from Jan. 15 through the event to set up the necessary electrical infrastructure,” says Lee Cummins, director, project management, CES Power. “Our systems are utilizing a cloud-based monitoring system to assure that complete and seamless power is provided to all aspects in assisting our client to put on-air the most-watched yearly sporting event in the United States.”
