TUDN Audio Brings World Baseball Classic to Fans
TUDN Audio Network announces a partnership with World Baseball Classic, Inc. (WBCI) to bring fans coverage of the World Baseball Classic in Spanish Language audio in the U.S. The global tournament will be played Mar. 8 – 21 from Taichung, Tokyo, Phoenix and Miami.
Live games will broadcast through TUDN Audio Network owned, operated, and affiliated radio stations, plus streamed within TelevisaUnivision’s audio app, UFORIA, with two sports audio channels dedicated to the event: TUDN Radio and TUDNXtra. Additionally, daily shoulder programming will include “Desde el Diamante”, a 60-minute show with exclusive news and analysis from the World Baseball Classic. Commentary will be led by Luis “Yiky” Quintana, Joe Luis Napoles, Alberto “El Beto” Ferreiro, Luis Quiñones, Jesus Acosta and TUDN special guests Jose Luis Lopez Salido and Lindsay Casinelli.

In its fifth installment, the World Baseball Classic is the premier international baseball tournament, sanctioned by the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC). Team USA is the reigning World Baseball Classic Champion after beating runner-up Puerto Rico during its 2017 championship run, joining previous tournament champions Team Japan (2006 and 2009) and Team Dominican Republic (2013). The 2023 World Baseball Classic will again feature the world’s greatest baseball-playing countries and territories. The event will culminate with the Championship Game on Tuesday, Mar. 21, at loanDepot park.
