San Diego State’s first trip to the NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four is also the first-ever appearance in the National Semis for a school from the Mountain West Conference. To meet the moment, the team from the Mountain West Network – Executive Producer Jesse Kurtz, Associate Commissioner, Broadcast Production Brian Tripp, and Studio Host Bridget Howard – is in Houston to cover all of the action and tell the unique stories of this Aztecs squad.
Kurtz stopped by to chat with SVG’s Brandon Costa about some of his team’s content highlights, what their staffing plan looks like, and what advice he would give a fellow conference rep who finds themselves in a similar position.
