Gravity Media US Appoints Andres Gonzalez as Production Operations Manager

Gravity Media is adding a new addition to their broadcast facility in Las Vegas with the appointment of Andres Gonzales as Production Operations Manager to further support the US operation.Andres is a multi-Emmy award-winning visionary and articulate bilingual, communicator with a track record of successful projects and productions, within various areas of the media industry. Andres joins the Gravity Media US team, to further ensure delivery of Gravity Media’s managed service offering in Las Vegas as well as several integrated, end-to-end solutions across the full broadcast spectrum, including mobile units, flypack solutions, managed services, and production & content in locations across the US.

Andres has been in the Las Vegas market for over 20 years and his experience spans UFC, KLAS TV, KBLR Telemundo, KMCC 34, KYVV San Antonio, MundoFOX/MAX and KBLR Telemundo. Andres holds strong creativity, the proven ability to work independently as well as being a strong team player and leader.

Andres joins from Klas TV where he was the Senior Newscast Director / Supervisor at Klas TV in Las Vegas. There he was responsible for leading and supervising The Morning team; writing, editing, as well as tracking Spanish short news stories on 8News Now. Andres also worked with the UFC where he was the Spanish Broadcast Director.

Prior to this, Andres worked as a News Operators Manager at KBLR Telemundo, where he led, developed, and coordinated electronic and digital newsgathering operations for video gathering, editing, remote broadcasts, LiveU, Dejero and the Dejero APP. In addition, Andres was accountable for the production control rooms, studio technology and vehicle fleet as well as providing technical guidance, training and leadership for editorial and newsgathering personnel, including photographers or others as assigned.
