SVG On Demand: FOX Sports’ Gary Hartley on Designing Graphics For The Network’s Groundbreaking New Studio A in L.A.

In the midst of the busiest stretch in FOX Sports history, the network debuted a cutting edge new Studio A at its Los Angeles headquarters last fall leveraging augmented- and extended-reality technologies. The studio was such a groundbreaking hit, it’s been nominated for The George Wensel Technical Achievement Award at the 2023 Sports Emmys.

At the 2023 SVG Sports Graphics Forum, Gary Hartley, Executive Vice President and Creative Director for FOX Sports spoke about the challenge of designing graphics for the studio and some of the other surprises that have emerged on the sports side over the past year.
