Mediapro Peru Provides Production, Broadcast and Distribution Services for Football Match Between Peru and Brazil

Mediapro Peru provided production, broadcast and distribution services for the match between Peru and Brazil, in the second round of FIFA 2026 World Cup qualifying games, which took place on September 12th at the Lima National Stadium.
The project, which saw more than 250 staff take part, is one of the biggest broadcast operations for a football match played in Peru and has been compared to the work carried out during in the final of the Copa Libertadores in 2019, which was also managed by GRUP MEDIAPRO.
Mediapro Peru was responsible for the signal customization for 4 TV channels as well as providing services for the rights holders. The match was broadcast simultaneously across Peru via ATV, Movistar Deportes and América Televisión, and the international broadcast feed was broadcast for Brazil as well as around the world.
Technical equipment for the project included more than 20 cameras, including two super slow motion, 2 12-metre Jimmy Jibs, a Steadycam, 2 goal cams, a cinecam, in addition to a Dronlive, which were used to capture all the match action. At the TV Compound there were 2 OB vans stationed to provide host broadcaster services, 4 OB vans for rights holders operated by Mediapro Peru, 1 television OB van, operated by the rights holder and 1 OB van for Video Assistant Referee (VAR) services, as well as 5 satellite link-ups and 3 microwave link-ups.
Mediapro Peru manages the audiovisual broadcast rights for the qualifying phase for the Peruvian national team and is also responsible for the production, broadcast and distribution of games. In addition, GRUP MEDIAPRO is also in charge of the implementation of VAR services for all the World Cup qualifying games.
