Olympic archery, which concluded this week at Esplanade des Invalides, was once again an exercise in getting up-close shots of the athletes and the arrows flying through the air – while remaining super safe. It’s actually one of the great Olympic TV events because quick directing and the use of close-up cameras on the targets make it feel like watching a darts tournament but on a much grander scale.
