Live From Paris 2024: 3x3 Basketball Production Gallery

The 3×3 basketball competition has one of the more unusual production environments at an Olympic Games. Both in Tokyo, where it debuted, and here in Paris, the half court is surrounded by U-shaped and very steep stands, putting the fans right on top of the players. In Paris, its location at Place de la Concorde, a stone’s throw from the BMX and skatepark venues, gave it even more energy. In addition, fans without tickets but within the perimeter of the three venues were able to watch the competitions via a big screen. Below are some behind-the-scenes photos of the 3×3 production team capturing all the one- and two-point shots (ironically, no three pointers in 3×3), dunks, and dribbles.
