OpTic Gaming’s Corey Dunn on How an Esports Team Has Become a Production Powerhouse

The esports franchise was the first team to host the Call of Duty League Championships

OpTic Gaming, the professional esports team based in Texas, is also a content creation and live production powerhouse. The club has established such a reputation that, this summer, Activision Blizzard entrusted the team to host the Call of Duty League Championships at Esports Stadium in Arlington. It marked the first time that a single team was granted the responsibility to host the world championship event.

At the 2024 SVG Esports Production Summit, we spoke with Corey Dunn, Executive Director of OpTic Gaming & Esports Stadium Arlington to get his take on how the event went, what was learned, and how it will take the club to even greater heights.
