The temporary facility was used for the 2024 Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup

Last summer, the temporary Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in East Meadow, NY turned heads as it hosted eight Group Stage matches in the 2024 Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup. The building was constructed in less than half a year and then quickly disassembled following the event.

We spoke with PMY Group’s SVP, USA Logan Meier to discuss the unique challenges of the build, the technology that was installed to drive the shows in it, and its lasting impact on the sports venue industry.
