TNT Sports Tips Off 2025-26 Men’s College Basketball Regular Season
Story Highlights
TNT Sports tipped off its most expansive coverage of regular season men’s college basketball — 98 games in all — with a blockbuster Hall of Fame Series Las Vegas doubleheader last night.
At 7 p.m. ET, the defending NCAA national champion No. 3 Florida Gators put their formidable roster, featuring key transfers Boogie Fland and Xaivian Lee joining returning stars in Alex Condon and Thomas Haugh from last season’s championship squad, to the test against the No. 13 Arizona Wildcats and their second-ranked recruiting class, which features five-star recruits Koa Peat and Brayden Burries along with guard Bryce James.
Later at 9:30 p.m., consensus No. 1 recruit AJ Dybantsa, who was also named to the Associated Press preseason All-America team, made his collegiate debut as he led the No. 8 BYU Cougars against a new-look Villanova Wildcats team featuring top 50 recruit Acaden Lewis and new head coach Kevin Willard.
Brian Anderson provided play-by-play for both games, alongside Grant Hill, with Andy Katz reporting.
TNT Sports College Basketball Pregame presented by Vanda Pharmaceuticals coverage started at 6:30 p.m. ET on TNT, truTV and HBO Max, featuring Bruce Pearl, four-time SEC Coach of the Year and one of the most accomplished coaches of all time, basketball legends Jalen Rose and Jamal Mashburn, and versatile host Adam Lefkoe. The studio team will return with an AT&T at the Half report during each game, and for postgame coverage at the conclusion of the night’s action.
TNT Sports’ opening week of men’s college basketball coverage will continue later in the week with back-to-back nights of Big 12 non-conference matchups on TNT, truTV, and HBO Max.
On Thurs., Nov. 6, the TCU Horned Frogs will host the St. Francis (PA) Red Flash at 8 p.m. from Schollmaier Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. Pregame coverage will start at 7:30 p.m. with Pearl, Rose, Mashburn and Lefkoe. Anderson, Hill and Katz will call the game.
On Fri., Nov. 7, No. 13 Arizona will take on the visiting Utah Tech Trailblazers at 9 p.m. from the McKale Memorial Center in Tucson, Arizona. Pregame will start at 8:30 p.m. with Pearl, Rose, Mashburn, and Lefkoe. Spero Dedes, Greg Anthony and Nabil Karim will be on the call, with each also contributing regularly throughout TNT Sports’ college basketball coverage this season.

TNT Sports will also serve as the exclusive U.S. distribution partner for the 2025 GEICO Players Era Men’s and Women’s Championships during Thanksgiving week. The 2025-26 college basketball season will culminate with the 2026 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, jointly produced by TNT Sports and CBS Sports.
