EEG Rolls Out Version 2 of Lexi Automatic Captioning Service

EEG has announced the release of Lexi 2.0! The second generation of Lexi delivers higher accuracy, new workflow enhancements, and an expansive control set.

Features of Lexi 2.0 include:

• Lexi 2.0 can achieve over 95% accuracy thanks to Improved Accuracy. Includes a 30-50% reduction in word errors, as well as improved punctuation and response to fast speech and background noise.
• Core Models builds on the Topic Models feature to deliver even higher accuracy for a variety of content. Currently available in English for headline news, sports, Christian broadcasting, legislative and municipal sessions, and weather.
• Scheduling is an advanced calendaring feature that allows users to program future start and end times for captioning jobs. This new capability can also be used to set up recurring events for regularly scheduled programming.
• Instances, a feature within Scheduling, is a reusable template of settings that can be applied to captioning jobs for consistent language, Topic Models, caption appearance, and more.
